TRAVEL COLLECTION Inspiration
We’re vaccinated, we’re boosted, and for the first time since the COVID-19 lockdowns many of us feel ready to travel again. This travel itch is the inspiration for my latest collection – the TRAVEL COLLECTION. Unfortunately I do not have any travel plans in my immediate future, but I thought a lot about my first big international trip. I had just graduated from college and I travelled with a few friends (including my future husband) to Paris, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. One of the best times of my life!
While on this trip, I mostly remember all the excitement, laughs, and delicious meals. But I also remember continuously fumbling to find my passport at each train station, my purse bumping against my thigh as we hurriedly walked from site to site, and having to untangle my necklaces and earrings from the bottom of my backpack when I got dressed each morning. These minor hiccups are the inspiration for the accessories I created for my new TRAVEL COLLECTION.
