After 3 weeks of cutting, pinning, ironing, and sewing (plus 1 week of taking photos, editing photos, and uploading photos) my 2 in 1 Adjustable Dresses are ready to hit the website! I love all the print and color combinations of this collection. There’s a little something for everybody: dinosaurs, sugar skulls, mermaids, flowers, a wolf, Mickey and the gang, and even a print that looks like an Impressionist painting. The weather is just starting to warm up here in Albuquerque, and these dresses are really making me feel ready for summer!
There’s only one problem…describing how these dresses work is really hard! So I made this little video that hopefully can clarify what I mean by “adjustable” and “2 in 1.” My inspiration to create these dresses came from the fact that my parent friends are constantly having to buy new clothes for their growing children. Mother Earth doesn’t like that! And how come there’s not an adjustable garment that kids won’t outgrow? Hence, the Sew Minimal 2 in 1 Adjustable Dress was born. These pieces will transform from a dress to a top as kiddos grow, just pair it with leggings or jeans and children can wear them for many years to come.
